5 story concrete structure Base building renovations 50,500 sf

Pacific Structures is pouring concrete throughout the five story structure at the Metreon. This is a major structural renovation including raising and lowering floor slab elevations, on metal deck slab on grade, and built-up slabs. The building currently houses an operational movie theatre. Pacific -Structures has been pouring starting at 12 am and is completely finished and cleaned by 8 am to avoid noise disruption to the movie theater. Despite restrictive hours, the team is scheduled to complete on time due to their tight planning of logistics and sequencing.

To date, construction has consistently been designated as essential throughout the various county and state orders. This means that it is anticipated we will continue to provide our services to build the infrastructures in a way that provides for the greatest level of health and safety for our employees and the community. This includes continuing to follow the guidelines of the CDC and OSHA as well as state and local governments. We also understand the challenges this crisis brings to our employees, and therefore, the importance of maintaining our operations in order to help sustain the livelihoods of our employees.
