Health & Wellness

Build a Better You

We have a robust health and wellness program that promotes workplace wellness to provide for the safety and wellbeing of our employees. We truly believe that our employees are the company’s greatest strength and therefore want all employees to lead a well-balanced, happy and healthy life. The ‘Build A Better You’ program encourages healthy living through education on diet and exercise.

Plus 3 Network

Pacific Structures is using the Plus 3 Network as the core of our wellness program. Plus 3 Network is an innovative social networking company that combines personal fitness with charitable giving. Plus 3 Network counts employee’s daily-recorded walks, yoga sessions, runs, rides, swims or any of the 70+ healthy activities offered and then converts the actions into company-sponsored donations to the employees selected charity(s):

  • City Impact (San Francisco)
  • Legal Aid Society
  • Surfrider Foundation
  • Today’s Youth Matter
  • Hands for Humanity

Additional Incentives

In conjunction with Plus 3 kudos, we also have an extensive points and rewards program that incentivizes employees to be healthy. Points can be earned simply by drinking eight glasses of water a day, getting an annual checkup, eating the daily recommended fruits and vegetable servings, getting your teeth cleaned or taking a health risk assessment. In addition to individual activities, team challenges have sparked fun competition to get employees moving. Prizes for challenges focus on wellness and also rewarding employees for their hard work.

The health and safety of our employees and the people in the communities where we live and work is our highest priority. Pacific Structures is closely monitoring COVID-19 and following the recommendations of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and OSHA, as well as state and local governments.

We have comprehensive safety practices and are promptly adding the most current recommendations related to making our job sites and offices safe as related to COVID-19.

Our practices include key elements such as:

  • Social distancing protocols
  • Face coverings
  • Cleaning and disinfecting procedures
  • Extended training, monitoring, and reporting
  • Exposure risk assessment tools

To date, construction has consistently been designated as essential throughout the various county and state orders. This means that it is anticipated we will continue to provide our services to build the infrastructures in a way that provides for the greatest level of health and safety for our employees and the community. This includes continuing to follow the guidelines of the CDC and OSHA as well as state and local governments. We also understand the challenges this crisis brings to our employees, and therefore, the importance of maintaining our operations in order to help sustain the livelihoods of our employees.
