Indigo is a 10-story residential building with 469 units located on a full city block in downtown Redwood City. This $30 million project is 100,000 sf with 725,000 sf of elevated deck. The project consists of one level of below grade parking, two levels of interior parking with street front units, and a podium level courtyard with a pool and common outdoor area. From the third story podium, three separate towers go up an additional seven-stories.
One challenging aspect of this project is the building is ‘lot-line to lot-line’ on all four sides, so there is limited staging area. To plan for this, our team prepared traffic control plans designed for each concrete pour, while holding daily meetings to coordinate crane usage and delivery for all subcontractors.
